The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) has launched two regional dashboards under the Elimination Initiative (EI), aimed at monitoring progress toward the elimination of over 30 communicable diseases and related conditions in the Region of the Americas by 2030. This webinar introduces the latest dashboard, launched in March 2025, which tracks progress on cross-cutting proxy indicators across the four lines of action of the EI. The session will guide participants through the dashboard’s structure and functionalities, highlight key findings, and offer real-world examples from countries in the Region to support strategic action and decision-making.
Objectives
- Present the structure, features, and functionalities of PAHO’s new cross-cutting indicators dashboard.
- Demonstrate how the dashboard helps countries identify gaps and monitor progress.
- Share country experiences using data for action to accelerate elimination.
- Engage participants in interactive activities to use the dashboard.
Target audience
- National and subnational health authorities and disease elimination teams.
- Epidemiologists, data analysts, and surveillance experts.
- International cooperation partners and public health organizations.
- Stakeholders in health system strengthening and elimination of diseases.
