World Malaria Day 2023 is celebrated under the theme “Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement”. Special emphasis is placed on reaching marginalized populations with the available prevention and management tools and strategies aiming at malaria elimination.
To promote wide range of malaria control and elimination efforts, Malaria Champions will recognize public health, national or subnational governing entities, and other institutions or organizations, groups or communities with proven evidence about sustained actions with positive impact on malaria control and elimination.
