The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), developed by the World Health Organization (WHO), is a framework for describing and organizing information on functioning and disability. The experience in the use of the ICF in the Region of the Americas is very significant as it is considered a key tool to conceptualize and address health and disability.
