CONSULTANCY TO SUPPORT THE REVISION OF BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS AND PUBLIC HEALTH CORE FUNCTIONS AT THE NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH LABORATORY AND NATIONAL BLOOD TRANSFUSION SERVICE

The Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) invites applications for the role of National Consultant to support the revision of business processes and public health core functions at the National Public Health Laboratory and National Blood Transfusion Service in Jamaica.

Duty station:

Kingston, Jamaica

Qualifications:

Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in a health-related or business-related field from a recognized university

 

Desirable:

Master’s degree in a health-related or business-related field
Certification in a health-related field
Recognized Business Analyst Certification

Experience:

 

Essential: 

5 years of work experience in business analysis
Proven track record in business process analysis related to a clinical or public health laboratory.

Skills:

  • Excellent writing skills, demonstrated through report development and writing, or preparation of scientific or academic publications.
  • Excellent knowledge of business process analysis
  • Project management skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to meet timelines and deliverables schedule
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Languages:        Fluent in English language
