Diabetes self-care modules
This series of modules has been developed to support people living with diabetes, their caregivers, and health teams in strengthening self-care practices. Each module addresses a key aspect of diabetes management, offering practical information and simple recommendations that can be incorporated into daily life. Health workers can use these materials as educational tools for their patients. The first two modules—focused on foot care and physical activity—are already available, and additional topics will be added soon.
Regular physical activity is a key protective factor in preventing and controlling noncommunicable diseases such as diabetes.
