From 26 April to 3 May, 2025, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), together with the countries and territories of the Region of the Americas and its partners, will celebrate the 23rd annual Vaccination Week in the Americas (VWA) and the 14th World Immunization Week (WIW) under the call to action: Your decision makes a difference. Immunization for all.
This year, the campaign is aligned with the Disease Elimination Initiative, which aims to accelerate the elimination of more than 30 communicable diseases and related conditions by 2030, 11 of which are vaccine-preventable diseases.
