This consultation presents key concerns, comments, and suggestions formulated by States Parties in the Americas during the 2015, 2016, and 2017 Formal Regional Consultations, held to expedite the revision and finalization of both, the draft Five-year global strategic plan to improve public health preparedness and response (Draft GSP) and the proposed Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the International Health Regulations (IHR MEF), through the Governing Bodies of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and World Health Organization (WHO), are summarized below.
