Under the theme “Zero AIDS Deaths by 2030,” the 2025 World AIDS Day campaign aims to raise awareness on advanced HIV disease, give visibility on the stories behind each case, and inspire a collective response. Governments, health professionals, and society are called to accelerate action to achieve the elimination of AIDS by 2030.

These factors continue to hinder efforts to eliminate HIV. This virtual event aims to reinforce PAHO’s call to achieve zero HIV-related deaths by 2030.
