Food safety is also important as the immune systems of infants and young children are still developing. As a result they are highly vulnerable to foodborne illness.
This brochure, intended for parents and caregivers of infants and children under 5 years of age, is intended to give general guidance on what and how to feed to foster healthy growth and development of young children.
