Join us on Tuesday, February 17, at 11:00 a.m. (Washington, D.C. time or EST) for the event "From Evidence to Action: Regional Tools to Improve Childhood Cancer Care".

Within the framework of the Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer (CureAll) and the strategic collaboration between PAHO and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, this regional webinar will present the Regional Technical Package for Childhood Cancer, an integrated set of tools, resources, and platforms designed to support countries in the Americas in strengthening the diagnosis, treatment, comprehensive care, and quality of life of children and adolescents with cancer

The event will offer a practical and applied view of how countries can use these resources to improve access to essential medicines, strengthen hematopoietic stem cell transplantation programs, support childhood cancer survivors, and reinforce psychosocial care for patients and their families.

Objectives

  1. To present the PAHO Regional Technical Package for Childhood Cancer, including its digital platforms, guides, courses, and operational tools.

  2. To disseminate advances and experiences from countries in four key areas: medicines, transplants, survival, and psychosocial care.

  3. Promote regional collaboration and the use of shared data, standards, and resources to close gaps in childhood cancer control.

  4. Facilitating countries' access to practical tools for implementing quality policies, programs, and services.
