Background

Countries in the Americas are facing increasing challenges that demand strengthened the capacities among all stakeholders driving Primary Health Care (PHC). With this aim, PAHO has developed the PHC learning pathway, an innovative and flexible proposal that integrates courses, workshops, webinar, and communities of practice through the Virtual Campus for Public Health (VCPH).

The recommended starting point of this pathway is the virtual course “Introduction to PHC in the 21st Century: Principles and Implementation,” (available only in Spanish) which provides the conceptual and strategic foundations to understand PHC in the current context and guide the participants’ professional development.

Objective of the event
