The Pan American Health Organization and Evidence Aid have collaborated for over a decade and, in June 2021, together developed an Evidence Aid collection relevant to resilient health systems in the context of disasters and other health emergencies.
This collection summarizes systematic reviews on topics identified as priorities by PAHO, to supports preparedness, response, and recovery, thereby sustaining and protecting public health gains.
The summaries serve to inform policies, programs, and plans to advance towards universal access to health and universal health coverage, the United Nations’ Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The collection is available in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
