Montevideo. September 26, 2022. A study developed by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) with the contribution of the Latin American Center for Perinatology - Women's and Reproductive Health (CLAP/WR) on the prevention of adolescent pregnancy in Honduras and the Dominican Republic was recently published in Saludemia Magazine.

The objective of the intervention was to promote equitable health and well-being for adolescents and prevent unintended pregnancies. To this end, work was carried out on institutional strengthening, capacity building and through a cross-cutting approach of gender equity and interculturality. Virtual courses were developed, a guide for professionals was prepared and a "dialogue of knowledge" was launched.
