Pan American Conference on Drug Regulatory Harmonization

The Pan American Conference on Drug Regulatory Harmonization is PANDRH’s principal open forum for regional dialogue on topics of common interest in the regulation of medicines and other health technologies. It brings together the national regulatory authorities of the Region of the Americas and other relevant stakeholders, including representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, non-governmental organizations, civil society, professional and scientific institutions, academia, and regional and international initiatives related to regulatory harmonization and convergence.

The Conference helps shape PANDRH’s strategic priorities, promotes the exchange of experiences, identifies common challenges, and fosters technical cooperation among countries and with regional and global institutions. Its recommendations and conclusions are a key reference for guiding the work of the Network’s various structures and facilitating the national and regional implementation of actions, technical proposals, and joint projects that respond to shared priorities, with a view to advancing greater regulatory convergence and contributing to timely access to safe, effective, and quality health technologies in the Americas.
