Call for proposals for action: preventive measures in populations in situation of vulnerability – COVID-19

PAHO launches this call to receive proposals for the implementation of its guide "Guidelines for the application of non-pharmacological public health measures in groups in a situation of vulnerability in the context of COVID-19".

The objective of the call is to ensure that preventive public health measures can be implemented for the entire population, without any exclusion. Proposals may be submitted by academic institutions, NGOs, community or civil society organizations with legal personality, ministries of health, health services or primary health care services, as well as local governments (municipalities, cantons) and other government sectors in the region.

The selected proposals will receive financial contributions for their implementation.

Proposals can be for the areas of:

  1. Communication and dissemination
  2. Capacity building or Training for the application of the guide 
  3. Proposals for Adaptations and/or validations of the guide and 
  4. Proposals for the implementation of the guide that are accompanied by a systematization and/or evaluation of the guide.
