About this Webinar
Health Technology Assessment (HTA) is a key tool to strengthen decision-making in health, promoting more equitable, efficient, and evidence-based systems.
This webinar will present two documents recently published by PAHO and RedETSA:
- Tool for adapting health technology assessment reports: A practical resource that guides the process of identifying, evaluating, and adapting HTA reports developed by other institutions. The tool includes three modules (rapid screening, report quality, and feasibility of adaptation) and aims to support informed decision-making by avoiding duplication of efforts and leveraging existing knowledge.
- Hospital-based Health Technology Assessment for Latin America and the Caribbean: A document offering practical steps for implementing HTA in hospitals across Latin America and the Caribbean. Based on document reviews and surveys conducted with RedETSA members, it provides recommendations for institutionalizing local HTA, adapting international experiences to the regional context.
Speakers
Cristian Dorati (CUFAR, Argentina) and Alicia Alemán (University of the Republic, Uruguay). RedETSA Working Group on HTA Report Adaptation
