The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory, Barbados, has been officially designated as a Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) Collaborating Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance.

In recognition of this significant milestone, the PAHO/WHO Office for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Countries, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Wellness, will host a special ceremony to commemorate this achievement.
