ABOUT THE WEBINAR:

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought with it many challenges; however, challenges also provide varying and limitless opportunities. The Biomedical Engineering Unit of the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) has seen it fit to host a live Webinar, “Co-Existing with Covid-19” that looks at the pandemic in a holistic manner.  Due to a curative vaccine not being presently available and the current drive toward regaining acceptable normalcy in our country’s activities (inclusive of the reopening of our country’s borders), the webinar aims to better educate the public on how to effectively deal with the various situations that may have arisen, or are yet to arise from the effects of the novel coronavirus. As such, it creates an opportunity for the public to interact with some of the top ranked epidemiologists (local, regional and international) and have their questions and concerns answered regarding facts and rumors associated with the virus.
