The PAHO Revolving Fund facilitates access to vaccination supplies to six countries of Latin America and the Caribbean

August 10, 2022 (PAHO) — PAHO and its Revolving Fund continue to ease access to COVID-19 vaccines and ancillary supplies with the support of the Government of Canada. From May 2022 and by the end of the year, several countries in the Region have received 2.8 million syringes and will receive 162,000 more. The project also contemplates so far 32,300 safety boxes.

Safety boxes and syringes are critical for administering vaccines and transporting them to remote places and preserving the intended temperature of the product until they reach people’s arms.
