An additional 177,294 cases and 5,027 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, representing a 0.25% relative increase in cases and a 0.27% relative increase in deaths, compared to the previous day.
On 23 June, the Chile Ministry of Health (MoH) announced that 80% of the country’s population has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Overall, a total of 64.12% of the population has received both doses. On 22 June, vaccination of persons ≥19 years-old began and on Thursday 24 June vaccination for those ≥18 year-old will begin.
